New Executive Director for GACTE

Dr. Cindi Chance, Professor of Educational Leadership at Georgia Southern University, assumed the role of Executive Director of GACTE in January of 2010. Dr. Chance has been played an active role in teacher education in Georgia since 2001 when she moved to Georgia to become Dean of the College of Education at Georgia Southern. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of AACTE and has served as president of GACTE and of similar organizations in Louisiana and Tennessee. Dr. Chance has an extensive record of scholarship and has just completed a Fulbright residency in China. We are pleased that she’ll be working with our organization to help us achieve our professional goals on behalf of the Georgia’s children!
